Hi Everyone, We are looking at getting everyone together this coming Thursday May 2nd. 5:00-6:15 pm will be our time slot at Memorial in Blenheim (beside the arena). Click read more for details...
On Thursday we will get to know everyone involved, have a practice, talk about the seasonal structure and begin to make two River League teams.
Here is what we know so far:
- We will probably use a combination of Memorial in Blenheim and Victoria Park in Ridgetown for the season. This is because we have lost the Solvay diamond in Blenheim. We are also in a great spot with Bees Baseball in that we have 6 more teams this year than last, so we are growing as an Organization!
- We need to find a coach for the second U13 Team. I will coach one of the teams but we need someone to step up for the other team or else some players will not be able to play. Please email me if you are interested in coaching or helping out to schedule games etc.
- Come ready to practice on Thursday with a glove and helmet as well as a bat if you have one. If you don't have a bat, don't worry, we will have team bats provided.
- We will try to schedule practices and games throughout the week so that weekends remain free. That being said, we also plan on having smaller rosters to maximize at bats and playing time in the field. However, this only works if players are dedicated to the team on which they are placed.
